Cops who can't handle little girls should find other work

This will probably be the first of, unfortunately, many posts like this. I have been intrigued for years by big, armed police officers who feel that they have to use force like this against children, teenage girls and soccer moms. I guess this kid should be happy she wasn't hit with a taser a couple times.

Yes, I know, all sorts of people are capable of killing or hurting a police officer. I don't expect that a cop will never have to use force against women or, rarely, children. I do however have a problem with jumping a couple of rungs in the force continuum. This kid was walking, had her back turned and probably should have been given the chance to surrender to verbal commands (which she may have ignored) or maybe even an arm lock. Shoving this kid was assault and the cop should be charged. But he won't be.
